How we count
Destinations are the airports you can reach nonstop from an airport (counted one way; several airlines on the same route count once).
Routes are counted one way per airline. Seasonal routes are included; planned (not yet operating), cargo and charter flights are not.
When the destination airport's article has no table, we assume the same airline also flies the return route.
Flight times are estimated from distance (850 km/h cruise plus 30 minutes), not taken from timetables.
Connections are built from the route network only, excluding detours longer than twice the direct distance plus 500 km. We do not check whether same-day connections are possible. Only when there is no nonstop or one-stop route, we also show one road transfer to another airport within 80 km (e.g. NBO ⇒ WIL in Nairobi).
